SPEARFISH, S.D. – Black Hills State University head men's basketball Jeff Trumbauer announced Jackson Ehrlin, a 6-9 forward, has signed his National Letter of Intent to play for the Yellow Jackets beginning in 2017-18.

Ehrlin, a native of Colorado Springs, Colorado, attends Rampart High School and earned First Team All-Conference honors as a junior.

"I'm very pleased to be adding Jackson to our program," Trumbauer said. He is a skilled and talented big man who can score inside and out. He fits our system of play and is a person of great character."

During his junior campaign, Ehrlin scored 14 points per game and grabbed 8.6 rebounds and blocked 1.3 shots per game. That earned him an invite to the Colorado Springs Metro League All-Star Game where he scored 16 points.

"We are working to develop and increase our talent in the post position," Trumbauer added. "Jackson is a continued step in that direction. He and his family are a welcomed addition to Yellow Jacket Basketball."
