Enos Going Pro In Ireland
Spearfish, S.D. – Black Hills State University basketball stand-out Luke Enos has joined the Moycullen basketball team in Galway, Ireland.
"I'm excited to get to Ireland and play with my team," said Enos. "I'm very blessed to receive this opportunity and I can't thank everyone involved with Black Hills State University and the community for all that they have done for me over the past four years enough."
Moycullen is part of the Irish Super League. Enos will take to the court for the first time on October 2 in Ireland. Enos was a four-year starter for the Yellow Jackets. While at Black Hills State, Enos earned multiple individual awards. In 2009, Enos was named NAIA All-American (Second Team), a member of the NAIA All-National Tournament team, the Dakota Athletic Conference Player of the Year, and all-conference. (First Team). Enos was also named NAIA All-American (First Team), Dakota Athletic Conference Player of the Year, all-conference (First Team) in 2010. In his senior season, he was named the Dakota Athletic Conference Most Valuable Senior and was an NAIA All-American (First Team).
"Luke has been a tremendous student-athlete for Black Hills State University over the past four years," said head coach Bradd Schafer. "He and his classmates have taken Yellow Jacket basketball to another level. We wish him the best of luck."
