Box Score Spearfish, S.D. – The Black Hills State women's
basketball team dropped its season opener 61-55 to College of the
Ozarks on Friday evening at the Donald E. Young Center in
Spearfish, S.D.
“I thought we played hard,” said head coach Mark
Nore. “Offensively, we were just one play away from getting
over the hump and really making things happen.”
The Yellow Jackets had three players in double-digit scoring on
the evening. Juniors Keely Krowlikowski and Kristi Ryan led
the way for Black Hills State netting 12 and 11 points each,
respectively. Senior Katelynn Lamb chipped in with 10
points.
Black Hills State will return to action Friday, November 5 as
the team will face Mount Marty in Yankton, S.D. Tip-off is
scheduled for 5:30 p.m. CT/4:30 p.m. MT.
