Box Score Spearfish, S.D. – The Black Hills State University
women's basketball team defeated Rocky Mountain 77-60 to
improve to 3-2 Friday evening at the Donald E. Young Center in
Spearfish, S.D.
“It was a great team effort,” said head coach Mark
Nore. “We played with a lot of energy, we had a lot of great
team tonight play but there are some things we need to improve
on.”
The Yellow Jackets had four players score double digit points
behind senior Katelynn Lamb who finished the contest with 19
points, seven rebounds and two assists. Junior Keely Krowlikowski
and freshman Jordan Kent each finished the contest with 15 points
and junior Kristi Ryan chipped in 11 points.
Black Hills State played great defense creating 19 turnovers and
seven blocks led by freshman Jordan Kent who swatted the ball five
times, Kent had four assists and seven rebounds for the Yellow
Jacket defense.
Black Hills State will return to action Saturday, November 13 as
they take on Montana Tech, game time is scheduled for 3 p.m. MT
