Box Score Rapid City, S.D. – The Black Hills State University
women's basketball team defeated S.D. School of Mines 79-69
on Wednesday night in Rapid City.
The Yellow Jackets were led in scoring by Keely Krowlikowsi who
had a game-high 20 points. Maggie O'Neill added 16
points off the bench. Katelynn Lamb was the only other Yellow
Jacket in double figures with 13 points.
Black Hills State had 51 rebounds on the night compared o 32
rebounds for S.D. School of Mines. The Yellow Jackets were
able to gather 22 offensive rebounds which led to 12 second chance
points.
The win is the eighth consecutive victory for the Yellow Jackets
over the Hardrockers. Black Hills State moves to 8-3 with the
victory and 1-0 in Dakota Athletic Conference play.
The Yellow Jackets will play their next game on Dec. 17 against
Montana Tech in Dickinson, N.D. Tip-off is scheduled for 5
p.m. MT. Black Hills State defeated Montana Tech 87-76 in
Spearfish earlier this season.
