Box Score Spearfish, S.D. – The Black Hills State University women's basketball defeated Dickinson State 62-53 to improve to 16-3 on the season and a perfect 6-0 in the Dakota Athletics Conference Friday evening at the Donald E. Young Center in Spearfish.
"We defended well in the second half," said head coach Mark Nore. "It was a great effort to get a win against a good Dickinson team. We need to carry the momentum over to tomorrow's match-up."
The Yellow Jackets were led by senior Katelynn Lamb who finished the contest with 15 points. Juniors Keely Krolikowski and Kristi Ryan each finished the contest with 9 points. Senior Courtney Johnson finished the game with eight points, eight rebounds and four blocks.
Black Hills State will return to action Saturday, January 22 against Minot State. Tip-off is slated for 4 p.m. MT and can be heard live locally on 980 AM KDSJ.
