Box Score

Spearfish, S.D. – The Black Hills State University women's basketball team defeated Dakota State 88-58 at the Donald E. Young Center to move to 19-5 on the season and 9-2 in the Dakota Athletic Conference.

"We played with a lot of energy," said head coach Mark Nore.  "Our team showed a lot of maturity in the second half.  I'm proud of Keely scoring her 1,000 point.  It's great seeing Keely's hard work paying off.  Our girls really enjoy playing at home and we look forward to tomorrow's game."

The Yellow Jackets had four players score in double-figures.  Junior Keely Krolikowski scored 22 points including her 1,000 career point.  Junior Kristi Ryan added 13 points and seniors Katelynn Lamb and Mandy Brumfield each chipped in with 10 points.

The Yellow Jackets will return to action on Saturday, February 12 as the square-off against Mayville State.  The game will be the final regular season home game for Black Hills State.  Tip-off is scheduled for 4 p.m. MT.
