Women's Basketball Falls In NAIA Quarterfinals

Sioux City, Iowa – The Black Hills State University women's basketball team was defeated by Walsh (Ohio) in the quarterfinals of the NAIA Basketball Tournament 83-73 on Saturday afternoon in Sioux City, Iowa.

Black Hills State was led in scoring by Keely Krolikowski with 19 points.  Katelynn Lamb and Mandy Brumfield each had 16 points in the loss.

The Yellow Jackets led 38-27 at halftime and could not overcome a strong second half by the Cavaliers.  Black Hills State was outscored in the second half 56-35 in the final stanza.

Black Hills State finishes the season 24-8 overall.  The Yellow Jackets went 11-3 in the Dakota Athletic Conference and were regular season conference champions.
