SPEARFISH, S.D.—Rebounding from a loss hasn't been an issue for the Black Hills State University women's basketball team. The Yellow Jackets returned to the Young Center in front of a "Green Out" crowd on Friday evening with the mindset of extending their record to 3-0 following a loss.
Standing in the green and gold's way was MSU Denver. The Roadrunners lost four of their previous five games and were looking to string multiple wins together. The bright spot on MSU Denver's week was sophomore guard Georgia Ohrdorf earning RMAC Academic Player of the Year.
The Yellow Jackets avoided their first losing-skid of the season in a 67-64 victory over the Roadrunners. BHSU improves to 13-3, 10-2 RMAC while MSU Denver falls to 7-11, 5-7 RMAC.
