Pueblo, CO – The #11 Thunderwolves proved to be to much for the Black Hills State University football team, putting up an unanswered 58 points, routing the Yellow Jackets in their final road game.

The scoreboard was all Thunderwolves, they put up 21 points in the first quarter, 13 in second, 14 in the third, and 10 in the fourth. The Yellow Jackets struggled against an aerial assault, allowing Thunderwolves quarterback Jordan Kitna to throw for 296 yards with four touchdowns.

Chance Ebens, suffering though five sacks, also threw five interceptions that proved to be costly The Thunderwolves capitalized on these interceptions with 126 returns yards and one pick-six. Ebens was 11 for 28 on the day for 156 yards. A majority of the receiving yards were split by
Hasaan Williams (47 yards),
Jordan Pace (44 yards), and
Josiah Drain (43 yards).

Black Hills run game was shut down by the Thunderwolves.
Matthew Collier recorded 19 rushing yards and
Payten Gilmore put up 13 to achieve the bulk of the Green and Golds 28 rushing yards

Josh Gurnaby lead the defensive efforts with 5 solo tackles and 4 assists.
Devyn Vance recorded a sack on the day.

The Yellow Jackets are now 2-8 in conference play and tenth in the conference. They head into the final game of the season against non-conference Azusa Pacific University. Kickoff it at 1pm at the Lyle Hare Stadium.
