COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Allan McDonnell was named the Field Athlete of the Week, the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced Monday afternoon.
McDonnell, from Wall, S.D., earned the honor after clearing 6' 9.0" (2.06m) in the high jump at the Colorado Invitational. The sophomore's performance was a provisional qualifying mark, and gave him a fifth place finish while competing against multiple Division I student-athletes. McDonnell now sits in first place on the RMAC performance list for the year and is tied for 15th nationally.
The Green and Gold indoor track and field teams are back in action this weekend at in Rapid City at the Bauer Invite.
