KINGSVILLE, Texas – Jonah Theisen wrapped up his outstanding Yellow Jacket career in the 5,000 meters, and Jordyn Huneke and Whitney Scott competed in the pole vault on Saturday.

Huneke and Scott both took part in the women's pole vault on Saturday afternoon. Although neither sophomore cleared the initial height, they both gained valuable experience as they will return in 2019-20. Haven Lander (Pittsburg State) won the event.

Theisen, who finished second in the steeplechase on Friday, earning All-American honors, ran the 5k on Saturday evening. The senior finished in 16th in 15:07.70. Zach Panning (Grand Valley St.), Elias Gedyon (Adams State), and Tanner Chada (Grand Valley St) were the top three finishers.

Theisen wraps up his four-year career at BHSU with a national championship and as a seven-time All-American in cross country and track and field.
