NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Black Hills State University men's and women's track and field teams were named 2019 USTFCCCA All-Academic Teams. In addition, Hannah Hendrick, Tori Moore, Levi Fried, Jacob Iverson, and Jonah Theisen earned All-Academic Individual distinctions, the USTFCCCA announced recently.
In order to be qualify as a team, the group must have at least a 3.00 cumulative GPA as a team. The Yellow Jacket men finished the year with a 3.075 GPA, and the women had a 3.505 as a team. In total, 209 programs were honored, with 130 women's teams and 79 men's programs achieving the award.
Individually, a student-athlete must have a 3.25 cumulative GPA while also recording a provisional or automatic qualifying mark during either the indoor or outdoor seasons.
