Spearfish, SD - After splitting last weekends home games, the Black Hills State University women's basketball team will hit the road. They will take on New Mexico Highlands in Las Vegas, NM at 5:30 pm Friday and Colorado State University-Pueblo Saturday at 5:30 pm. The Yellow Jackets are sitting sixth in the RMAC standings, with a 7-4 conference record and 10-6 overall record.

The Lady Jackets lead the conference in turnover margin, making their opponents average 18.5 turnovers per game compared to their 14.6 turnovers.
Racquel Wientjes and
Morgan Ham lead the team, averaging 16.4 PPG and 14.5 PPG respectively. Wientjes 16.4 PPG currently sits fourth in the RMAC. Ham sits fifth in the conference for field goal percentage, with 44% and Wientjes sixth with 43%.Â
Katie Messler leads the team in rebounding, with 5.4 RPG and
Abby Switzer with 4.8 RPG.
Danica Kocer is also shooting an impressive 47% from downtown.

New Mexico Highlands
The NM Highland Cowgirls are sitting 0-11 in conference play and 1-15 overall. Their lone win came back in November against Northern New Mexico College. They are lead by Jordyn Lewis who averages 17.5 RPG, which is second in the RMAC. Ashley Antone also averages 11.8 PPG and 5.8 RPG. The Green and Gold won both games versus the Cowgirls last season.

CSU Pueblo
The CSU Pueblo Thunderwolves sit 12
th in the conference at 3-8 in RMAC play and 4-12 overall. The Thunderwolves are coming off a weekend sweep against Metro State University Denver and Chadron State. JaNaiya Davis earned RMAC Offensive Player of the Week while Sydni Williams received RMAC Defensive Player of the Week award last week. Davis leads the Thunderwolves, averaging 15.9 PPG which is fifth in the RMAC. Williams averages 11.2 PPG and 8.2 RPG, which sits fourth in the conference. Last season, the Yellow Jackets lost both matches versus the Thunderwolves.
