Spearfish, SD – The Black Hills State University men's and women's track and field teams won a total of 14 events at the Dave Little Alumni Mile Meet. The women's squad racked up nine wins while the men picked up five.

Abbie Fredrick picked up wins in both the 800m run and mile. She easily out ran her competition winning by over 3 second in the mile.
Xiomara Robinson added another distance squad win with her 5000 meter victory, beating second place by over 30 seconds.
In the sprints,
Breanne Fuller also won two events, taking the W in the 60m dash and 200m dash.
Zoe Langseth beat a herd of Chadron sprinters to win the 400m.
Kyla Sawvell again won the shot put by over 1.5 meters; she also took second in the weight throw.
Whitney Scott took second in the pole vault. Her mark of 12' 0.50" moved her to third all time in school history.

Seth Kovar in the finals of the 60m hurdles to win.
Hoyt Nicholas won the men's weight throw.
The Yellow Jackets are back in action next weekend for the Myrle Hanson Open. Action kicks off at 1:30pm on Saturday in the field house at the Donald Young Center.
