WBB: Yellow Jackets Travel to Golden for First Round of RMAC Tourney.

Spearfish, SD – The Black Hills State University women's basketball team has drawn the fifth seed for the RMAC Tournament. They will face #4 Seed Colorado School of Mines Tuesday night at 5:30pm in Golden, CO.

The Yellow Jackets finished the regular season strong, with a momentum building win over rival SDSMT. The team finished the regular season 14-8 in the RMAC and 17-10 overall. The Green and Gold have the fourth best offense in the league scoring 66.2 points per game. They are led by Raquel Wientjes who is averaging 16.8 points a game, the third most in the RMAC. Morgan Ham is posting 14.7 ppg, which is tenth best. Wientjes and Ham are the fifth and sixth best shooters percentage wise in the league respectively.

The Orediggers finished fourth in the regular season with a 15-7 RMAC record and a 18-9 overall record. They are fresh off a regular season finale loss against UCCS. The Yellow Jackets have split the 2019-2020 season with the Orediggers. CSM took the first game winning 64-53. The Yellow Jackets settled the score with a win 55-48 just last weekend on February 21st, winning in Golden. Danali Pinto will need to be contained; she leads the Orediggers with 20.2 points per game.
