Spearfish, SD - The Black Hills State University track and field teams will be sending a small contingent of athletes to compete at the Dakota Realty Alumni Meet hosted by the University of South Dakota in Vermillion, SD. Actions begins Friday at 3:00pm with the Multi Events. On Saturday, women's pole vault opens the competition at 11:00am. All times central. The rest of the Yellow Jackets will be taking the weekend off as they prepare for the SDSU Indoor Classic on February 14^th and 15^th.
 
"Those going down to USD are looking to hit national qualifying marks," said head coach Seth Mischke. "SDSU is a big meet and a great opportunity to run some personal bests so the rest of the squad will train through this weekend to gear up for that opportunity."
 
The USD meet this weekend will feature an invite only Weight Throw competition that Kyla Sawvell will likely get into. She currently sits 13^th in NCAA Division II in the weight throw and 27^th in the shot put.
 
The Coyotes also have the best Pole Vault squad in the entire country and the Green and Gold Vaulters will benefit from that level of competition. Currently, Whitney Scott is 17^th in Division II while Hannah Hendrick is 46^th.
 
As the RMAC Indoor Championships draw nearer, the following Yellow Jackets are in position to score:
