Black Hills State University women's basketball is set to face off against South Dakota Mines Saturday January 23rd at 5:30 P.M. and Chadron State Tuesday January 26th at 5:30 P.M.
 
The Yellow Jackets are coming off an overtime loss to Western Colorado on Saturday January 19th 70-61. After a very competitive four quarters of play overtime did not go in favor of the Yellow Jackets this time as they were outscored 10-1 throughout the 5-minute period. The Yellow Jackets had two double digit scorers in the contest with Megan Engesser recording 22 points and Racquel Wientjes recording 19 of her own. On the defensive side of the ball the team was led by Katie Messler and Wientjes who each recorded eight rebounds and three steals apiece throughout the night.
 
BHSU (6-3) vs SDM (3-6)

The last time BHSU and South Dakota Mines faced off was last season on February 28th in a contest that saw the Yellow Jackets come out on top 60-58. The Hardrockers are currently 3-6 in conference play after dropping their last game to the Colorado School of Mines Orediggers 66-52. Historically South Dakota School of Mines holds a slight edge over the Yellow Jackets with an overall 52-50 record against the Yellow Jackets.

BHSU (6-3) vs CSC (0-5)

The last time the Yellow Jackets and Eagles faced off was last season on February 15th in a contest that saw the Yellow Jackets win big with a 72-49 victory. Currently the Eagles are 0-5 in the RMAC and on the hunt for their first victory of the season. In their last contest the Eagles took on Westminster in a game that saw the Griffins end on top in an 84-63 contest. Historically the Eagles hold the edge over the Yellow Jackets with a 25-38 all-time record.
