The Yellow Jackets women's basketball team is back home after splitting their road series last weekend as they are set to take on the UC Colorado Springs Mountain Lions at the Donald E. Young Center at 5:30 on Friday, February 12^th.

The Jackets currently sit 5th in RMAC standings with a 10-5 record.

Last weekend the Jacket's played two games on the road in Colorado first facing off against Adams State in a contest that saw the Jackets fall to an early deficit which proved to be too much for the team to overcome, falling to the Grizzlies 68-60. Next the Jackets sparred against the CSU Pueblo Thunderwolves in a close competitive contest which saw the Jackets close out the contest on a 12-2 scoring run that would give them the 64-54 victory.

The Mountain Lions currently hold a 3-9 record after falling to the Thuderwolves on February 8^th in Colorado Springs. The last time the Yellow Jackets and Mountian Lions played was earlier this season in a decisive win for the Yellow Jackets after an 11-2 scoring run in the second quarter and stout defensive play from the Jackets proved to be too much for the Mountain Lions to overcome. The Jackets outscored the Mountain Lions 72-56 in that contest.

The Jackets go into the match-up looking to duplicate the successes they had in their first face off against UCCS this season.
