After finding success in their first two home meets the track and field team will be sending women throwers and pole vaulters to compete in the CSC Open in Chadron, Nebraska Saturday, February 6^th.

The meet will begin at 10:00 AM with the men's weight throw followed by the women's weight throw. Other field events running at 10 include women's long jump and men's high jump with the men's pole vault beginning at 11:30 A.M.

The Yellow Jackets who are competing include Maddi Fidler, Hannah Hendrick, Sully Mack, Jessica Malm, Savannah Perez, Kyla Sawvell and JoJo Sherman.

Following the completion of the weight throw and long jump, shot put and triple jump will begin. Running events begin at 11:00 A.M. on a rolling schedule.

The Yellow Jackets last time out proved successful with three Yellow Jackets earning provisional marks in five events. Kyla Sawvell earned a provisional mark in both women's weight throw and shot-put while Hannah Hendrick matched a provisional mark in pole vault and Xiomara Robinson earned provisional marks in the mile and 5K.
