After a weekend sweep at home against MSU Denver and CCU to round out January play, the Yellow Jackets hit the road to take on Adams State and CSU Pueblo.
The Yellow Jackets are 9-4 on the season and sit fifth in the RMAC after a three-game winning streak. The team is benefiting from balanced offensive and defensive play while being led in scoring by Senior

Adams State (1-4, 1-4 RMAC)
Adams State has lost four in a row after winning its season opener against CSU Pueblo but has not played a game since January 7
th due to COVID-19 protocols. Their last contest was played against MSU Denver in a game that saw the Grizzlies face a 12-point deficit that the team could not overcome, falling 75-68.
The last time the Yellow Jackets took on the Grizzlies was last season on December, 14
th, 2019. In that contest, the Yellow Jackets came out on top after a dominating performance in the fourth quarter which led the Jackets to an 85-51 victory over the Grizzlies. Historically, the Yellow Jackets hold the advantage over the Grizzlies with a 7-0 record.
CSU Pueblo (1-9, 1-9 RMAC)
CSU Pueblo has lost its last six straight after recording a win on January, 16
th against UCCS. Their last time out, the Thunderwolves played a close game in Rapid City against South Dakota Mines, which they ultimately dropped 65-73 after a rally in the fourth quarter was not enough to pull them ahead of the Hardrockers.
The last time the Yellow Jackets and the Thuderwolves faced off was last season on February 7th. The Yellow Jackets recorded the win 98-78 after shooting 53.8 percent on the night and having five players record double-digit scores. Historically CSU Pueblo holds the edge over the Jackets with a 5-15 record in face-offs.
