PUEBLO, Colo. – At the completion of day one of the RMAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships the Black Hills State track and field team has two All-Conference athletes in Kyla Sawvell and Maddi Fidler, while Breanne Fuller will compete in finals in the 100m dash on Sunday.
 
Kyla Sawvell and Maddi Fidler were among the first athletes to wrap up competing on Friday afternoon with the women's hammer throw being one of the first events of the day.
 
Sawvell bested her provisionally qualifying mark when she threw 58.41m (191' 08"). This mark also earned her first in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference while also earning a First-Team All-Conference spot. Sawvell's current mark of 58.41m (191' 08") currently ranks her fourth in the nation for the women's hammer throw.
 
Fidler threw 49.97m (163' 11") which earned her a fifth place RMAC finish and Second Team All-Conference.
 
Breanne Fuller ran a 11.98 100m dash placing fifth in the prelims which earned her a spot competing on Sunday in the 100m finals while also breaking the school record in the 100m dash that she set last weekend of 12.03.

Keith Osowski also earned his spot in finals Sunday in the 1500m run after finishing with a time of 3:50.86 earning tenth place. On the women's side both Xiomara Robinson and Ruby Lindquist earned their places in finals after placing sixth and seventh. 

Osowski and Lindquist both improved their provisional marks in the 1500m run.
 
Conor McGraw began competition in the men's decathlon racking up 3004 points which puts him in eighth overall after one day of competition.
 
After day one of competition the women currently sit in fourth place while the men are currently not ranked for the Yellow Jackets.
 
Day two of competition begins Saturday, May 1 at 9:00 a.m. with the men's decathlon 110 hurdles. A full day two schedule can be found below.
