COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Black Hills State outdoor track and field had twenty-three student-athletes named to the RMAC Honor Roll, as announced by the league office Wednesday afternoon.
 
To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must carry a 3.30 cumulative grade point average and must have been an active student at the institution for at least two consecutive semesters or three consecutive quarters.
 
The women's team had 13 student-athletes named to the RMAC Honor Roll including Samantha Bates, Vanessa Clark, Erica Dykstra, Maddi Fidler, Hannah Hendrick, Mayson Hudyma, Zoe Langseth, Taylor Lundquist, Jessica Malm, Allison Rief, Xiomara Robinson, JoJo Sherman, and Kelsey Van Den Hemel while the men's team had ten student-athletes named including Collin Brauer, Ryan Foy, Seth Hills, Nolan Maher, Drazen Moratzka, Hoyt Nicholas, Keith Osowski, Matthew Parker, Ryan Rafferty, and Reece Ullery.
 
Samantha Bates – 3.595 Exercise Science
Bates is a sophomore jumper from Rapid City, S.D. majoring in Exercise Science with a 3.595 GPA. Bates competed in the long jump, triple jump and the 4x400 meter relay for the Yellow Jackets this season.
 
Vanessa Clark – 3.933 Art
Clark is a senior sprinter and hurdler from Glenrock, Wyo. majoring in Art with a 3.933 GPA. Clark ran both the 100 and 400 hurdles for the Yellow Jackets this season.
 
Erica Dykstra – 3.543 Business Administration
Dykstra is a sophomore distance athlete from Rapid City, S.D. majoring in Business Administration with a 3.543 GPA. This season Dykstra consistently ran a leg of the women's 4x400 meter relay for the Yellow Jackets.
 
Maddi Fidler – 3.351 Business Administration
Fidler is a sophomore thrower from Shelby, Ohio majoring in Business Administration with a 3.351 GPA. This season Fidler competed in the women's hammer throw and javelin. Fidler earned Second Team All-Conference in the women's hammer throw this season for the Yellow Jackets.
 
Hannah Hendrick – 3.529 Physical Education
Hendrick is a junior pole vaulter, who just completed her sophomore season of outdoor track and field, from Sioux Falls, S.D. majoring in Physical Education with a 3.529 GPA. This season Hendrick provisionally qualified in the pole vault in the first outdoor meet of the season for the Yellow Jackets.
 
Mayson Hudyma – 3.647 Psychology
Hudyma is a junior distance athlete from Scoby, Mont. majoring in psychology carrying a 3.647 GPA. This season Hudyma competed in the 800-meter run and the 1500-meter run for the Yellow Jackets.
 
Zoe Langseth – 3.373 Biology
Langseth is a senior sprinter from Valdez, Alaska majoring in Biology carrying a 3.373 GPA. This season Langseth ran in the 4x400 meter relay and the 400 hurdles for the Yellow Jackets.
 
Taylor Lundquist – 3.905 Exercise Science
Lundquist is a sophomore from Maple Grove, Minn. majoring in Exercise Science with a 3.905 GPA. This season Lundquist ran the 800-meter run for the Yellow Jackets this season.
 
Jessica Malm – 3.890 Business Administration
Malm is a senior thrower from Burns, Wyo. majoring in Business Administration with a 3.890 GPA. Malm competed in the hammer throw this season for the Yellow Jackets.
 
Allison Rief – 3.764 Physical Education
Rief is a sophomore distance athlete from Sioux Falls, S.D. majoring in Physical Education with a 3.764 GPA.
 
Xiomara Robinson – 3.726 Biology
Robinson is a sophomore distance athlete from Sheridan, Wyo. majoring in Biology with a 3.726 GPA. This season Xiomara broke the school record and provisionally qualified in the 1500-meter run. Robinson competed in the 800-meter run, 1500-meter run, and the 5k this season for the Yellow Jackets.
 
JoJo Sherman – 3.369 Elementary Education
Sherman is a junior pole vaulter from Kalispell, Mont. majoring in Elementary Education with a 3.369 GPA. This season Sherman competed in the pole vault for the Yellow Jackets.
 
Kelsey Van Den Hemel – 3.959 Professional Accountancy
Van Den Hemel is a junior distance athlete from Ft. Pierre, S.D. majoring in Professional Accountancy who carries a 3.959 GPA. This season Kelsey ran in the 5K for the Yellow Jackets.
 
Collin Brauer – 3.643 Exercise Science
Brauer is a sophomore distance athlete from Sheridan, Wyo. majoring in Exercise Science with a 3.643 GPA. This season Brauer competed in the 800-meter run, 1500-meter run, and the steeplechase for the Yellow Jackets.
 
Ryan Foy – 4.00 Mathematics
Foy is a sophomore pole vaulter from Casper, Wyo. majoring in Mathematics who carries a 4.00 GPA. This season Foy jumped 4.61m in the pole vault for the Yellow Jackets.
 
Seth Hills – 3.435 Exercise Science
Hills is a junior hurdler from Terre Haute, Ind. majoring in Exercise Science who carries a 3.435 GPA. This season Hills competed in both the 110 hurdles and the 400 hurdles for the Yellow Jackets.
 
Nolan Maher – 4.00 Physical Science
Maher is a sophomore distance athlete from Bismarck, N.D majoring in Physical Science who carries a 4.00 GPA. Maher competed in the 5K and 10K for the Yellow Jackets this season.
 
Drazen Moratzka – 3.559 Composite Social Science
Moratzka is a senior high jumper from Cheyenne, Wyo. majoring in Composite Social Science with a 3.559 GPA. Moratzka competed in the high jump for the Yellow Jackets this season jumping a season best 1.97m.
 
Hoyt Nicholas – 3.459 Physcial Education
Nicholas is a junior thrower from Worland, Wyo. majoring in Physical Education with a 3.459 GPA. This season Hoyt competed in the shot put, discus, and hammer throw for the Yellow Jackets.
 
Keith Osowski – 3.858 Chemistry
Osowski is a senior distance athlete from Kodiak, Alaska majoring in Chemistry who carries a 3.858 GPA. This season Osowski competed in the 800-meter run, 1500-meter run, and steeplechase for the Yellow Jackets. Osowski provisionally qualified in the steeplechase this season.

Parker is a junior distance athlete from Spearfish, S.D. majoring in Elementary Education with a 3.570 GPA. This season Parker competed in the 1500-meter, 5K, and 10K for the Yellow Jackets.
