The Black Hills State track and field teams have released their indoor schedules for the 2022-23 indoor season.
 
The Yellow Jackets will kick off their season with three meets at the Donald E. Young Center Fieldhouse, with their first meet taking place in the Yellow Jacket Open on Friday, Dec. 2 through Saturday, Dec. 3, 2022.
 
Following the start of the new year, the Yellow Jackets will return to Spearfish for the Myrle Hanson Open on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023. The Donald E. Young Center will then play host for the Dave Little Alumni Mile on Friday, Jan. 20 through Saturday, Jan. 21.
 
BHSU will take their first road trip to Mankato, Minnesota for MSU-Mankato's Mark Shuck Open & Multi on Friday, Jan. 27. From there, the Yellow Jackets will make their way to Chadron State for the Don Holst Open on Saturday, Jan. 28.
 
Heading into February, the Yellow Jackets will compete in Golden, Colorado at the Mines Winter Classic, hosted by Colorado Mines, on Friday, Feb. 3 through Saturday, Feb. 4. The following week, BHSU will travel to Brookings, South Dakota to compete in the SDSU Classic on Saturday, Feb. 11 and Sunday, Feb. 12. The regular indoor season will conclude in Spearfish as the Yellow Jackets will host the Stinger Open on Friday, Feb. 17 and Saturday, Feb. 18.
 
In the post season, the RMAC Indoor Championships is slated for Friday, Feb. 24 in Alamosa, Colorado. The NCAA DII Indoor National Championships will be held on Friday, March 10 in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
