Kicker
Coleman Chapman was a perfect 5-of-5 on point-after tries, and booted a 51-yard field goal.
After forcing a turnover on downs, the BHSU offense used a 20-yard Susel rush to get into ASU territory before he finished the drive with a 2-yard touchdown run, giving BHSU a 7-0 lead with 4:31 left in the first.
The defense stepped up again on the Grizzlies' next drive, this time with a pick-six from Simon who intercepted a lobbed pass at the BHSU 35-yard line and took it back 65 yards for the touchdown, pushing the Yellow Jacket lead to 14-0 just ahead of the second quarter.
ASU continued to stall against the BHSU defense, who would force a 3-and-out to give the offense the ball at the ASU 35-yard line with an opportunity to add onto the lead.
Goods rattled off a 14-yard gain to open the drive before Pressley punched it in three plays later for the 12-yard score, extending the lead to 21-0. The Grizzlies followed, though, with a scoring drive of their own to get on the board and make it 21-7.
On the final play of the first half,
Nicc Quinones grabbed the team's second pick-six of the game, this time for 76 yards on the return, which gave BHSU a 28-7 lead at the break.
Out of the locker room, the defense stayed hot as Rodriguez-Brown hauled in his second interception of the game to stall yet another ASU drive.
Midway through the third quarter, Susel scored his second touchdown of the game with a seven-yard rush as the offense continued to add on, making it a 35-7 game.
Then early in the fourth quarter, the Yellow Jacket defense forced another stop with ASU throwing an incomplete pass on 4th-and-7, making them 0-for-4 on fourth down conversion attempts.
BHSU would add on once more with a 51-yard field goal from Chapman in the end of the fourth quarter to bring, what would ultimately be the final score, to 38-7.
