After completing a weekend road sweep the Black Hills State women's basketball team is heading south to face off against Chadron State Tuesday night at 5:30 p.m. in Chadron, Neb.

The Yellow Jackets (15-8, 13-4 RMAC) head into Tuesday's contest having won eight of their last nine games. Most recently the Yellow Jackets defeated UCCS 55-52 Friday, February 11 and NMHU 74-55 Saturday, February 12.

Currently BHSU is ranked second in 3-point percentage in the RMAC as they shoot 33.7% behind only Westminster who is shooting 36.5%.

Megan Engesser is currently ranked third in the RMAC in three-point percentage as she shoots 35.7% from beyond the arc.

The Yellow Jackets are currently ranked fourth in all around defense in the RMAC allowing an average of only 58.9 points per game.

The Eagles (7-15, 6-11 RMAC) are coming off a weekend of competition that brought them a pair of losses to NMHU Friday night, 76-71, and UCCS Saturday, 78-61. The Eagles are on a three-game losing streak having last won against Adams State February 5.

Currently the Eagles are ranked 14th in total defense as they give up an average of 71.7 points per game.

The Yellow Jackets are outshooting the Eagles from the field, 37.3% compared to 35.9%, beyond the arc, 33.7% compared to 31.7%, and from the free throw line, 70.4% compared to 69.5%.
