COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.- Black Hills State men's track and field was picked to finish 8th in the RMAC 2022 Outdoor Track and Field Preseason Poll, as released by the league office Wednesday afternoon.

The Yellow Jackets are coming off a successful indoor season which saw one All-American crowned, seven athletes earn All-Conference accolades, four school records broken, and 18 top ten list moves.

The Yellow Jackets returned 22 student athletes for the 2021-22 season while welcoming 17 new student athletes.

For the men University of Colorado – Colorado Springs was picked to finish first with 134 points and 10 first-place votes. Colorado School of Mines was picked second with 123 points and two first-place votes, while Adams State was picked third with 117 points and one first-place vote.
