Black Hills State football has announced its 2022 slate for the upcoming fall season, which includes five home games and two non-conference matchups.
The Yellow Jackets will open the season on Sept. 1 at Dickinson State before playing their home opener on Sept. 10 against William Jewell.
BHSU opens its RMAC schedule on Sept. 17 at Chadron State and then returns home to play Colorado Mesa on Sept. 24.
When the calendar rolls over into October, BHSU will travel to Rapid City and take on rival South Dakota Mines in the 137th Black Hills Brawl on Oct. 1. BHSU will then head south to New Mexico Highlands the following week on Oct. 8.
The team returns home again a week later to host Western Colorado on Oct. 15 before heading to Golden, Colo. on Oct. 22 to take on Colorado Mines.
On Oct. 29, Fort Lewis will come to town to play the Yellow Jackets before BHSU plays it's final road game the following week, heading to Adams State on Nov. 5.
Football's regular season schedule will wrap up at home on Nov. 12 against CSU Pueblo.
