Black Hills State track and field will prepare for the RMAC Championships with one last outdoor meet as the team is heading to Fort Collins, Colorado for competition Friday, April 22 and Saturday, April 23.
 
So far this season the Yellow Jackets have recorded nine provisionally qualifying marks for the NCAA DII Outdoor Track and Field Championships which will be held in Allendale, Michigan May 26-29.
 
The Yellow Jackets still have opportunities to add more student-athletes to that list with the Jack Christiansen Invitational on deck for April 22 and 23 and the RMAC Championship set to be held in Spearfish April 30 – May 1.
 
The Jack Christiansen Invitational is a two-day meet and is set to kick off Friday at 12:00 p.m. with the hammer throw.
 
Saturday the all other events will run beginning with the women's 5000m run on the track at 10:05 a.m. and the women's shot put at 10:00 a.m.
 
The Jack Christiansen Invitational will be host to both college level and high school competition on Friday and Saturday. Below is the complete college meet schedule.
