COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Black Hills State football had three earn weekly honors Monday afternoon after standout performances in Saturday's 38-19 win over William Jewell.
Linebacker
Ryder Blair was named Defensive Player of the Week and kicker
Coleman Chapman earned Special Teams Defensive Player of the Week honors.
Blair helped lead the defense on Saturday, making six tackles in total, good for second on the team, including four solos. He also hauled in an interception and returned it for 16 yards.
Chapman was a perfect 5-5 on extra point attempts, and made his one field goal attempts which was good from 37 yards out.
Nolan Susel was named Honorable Mention for Offensive Player of the Week honors. He totaled three touchdowns on the ground while totaling 84 yards on 12 carries and added a 37-yard reception.
