COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Black Hills State football sophomore,
Aaron Thiele was named RMAC Defensive Player of the Week Monday afternoon.
Thiele led the defense in Saturday's 32-23 road win at Chadron State with 12 total tackles, a QB hurry, and an interception that came in the fourth quarter to preserve a 2-possession lead.
Thiele currently ranks 4th in the RMAC with 26 total tackles this season, and 5th with an average of 8.7 tackles per game.
This is Thiele's first weekly RMAC award, joining
Ryder Blair and
Coleman Chapman who earned the honor last week.
