Black Hills State football will host Colorado Mesa on Saturday, Sept. 24 for it's homecoming game at 1 p.m.
The game will also be the 2022 Beef Battle, presented by the South Dakota Beef Council.
BHSU is currently 3-0 to start the season for the first time since 2016 when the team finished 7-4 overall and 6-4 in the RMAC. The Yellow Jackets currently sit first among RMAC teams, allowing only 14.7 points per game. The BHSU defense has surrendered only five touchdowns and three field goals up to this point in the season.
The offense is third in the RMAC averaging 29 points per game while having scored 11 touchdowns (third in RMAC) and kicking four field goals (T-first).
