The Track and Field Squads for Black Hills State University are ready to lace them up for the David Little Alumni Mile meet this Friday and Saturday.
 
BHSU returns to the track one week removed from a great weekend showing at the Myrle Hanson Open, which saw multiple first place winners, a 60m dash school record broken, and plenty of action at the Donald E. Young Center Fieldhouse.
 
Breanne Fuller and Sully Mack were both named RMAC Players of the Week after great performances from the two seniors last week. Fuller broke her own school record in the women's 60m dash and earned first place in that event as well as the 200m dash. Fuller's 7.69 60m time beat her personal best, and previous BHSU record, of 7.71 that the Montana native cracked at last year's Stinger Open Meet.
 
Mack competed in the weight throwing competition at the Myrle Hanson last week and placed second with a 16.90m throw. His distance fell just 0.15m short of his personal best throw, which he made at last season's RMAC Indoor Track and Field Championships.
 
The David Little Alumni Mile Open begins Friday afternoon into the evening, with the full day of competition starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
