RAPID CITY, S.D. – Black Hills State's track and field squads will head east on Friday, April 21 for the South Dakota Mines' Bauer Open, giving the Yellow Jackets one final tune-up meet before conference finals at the end of April.
The hosting Hardrockers and Chadron State will serve as the other competing teams at O'Harra Stadium on Friday, with the meet slated to kick off at 10 a.m.
The Yellow Jackets are fresh off a hot weekend last week as the BHSU athletes were competing in three different meets in Kansas, Missouri, and California. Three NCAA DII provisional marks, nine personal bests, and a broken BHSU program record were all recorded at last weeks meets.
Field events will kick the Bauer Invitational off at 10 a.m. on a rolling schedule, with the track events starting at noon and will proceed in a rolling schedule as well.
