COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference released their 2022-23 Track and Field All-Academic lists on Thursday morning and have named Black Hills State's
Ryan Foy to the All-Academic First Team, with nine other Yellow Jacket men being named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
Athletes who are named to the RMAC All-Academic team must maintain a 3.50 GPA or higher while competing in a conference-sponsored championship sport and are selected by the RMAC sports information directors. Those who are named to the honor roll must maintain a 3.30 GPA or higher and follow the same competitive parameters.

Ryan Foy, Sr., Pole Vault
4.000 GPA – Mathematics / Physical Science
Foy maintained a 4.0 GPA for BHSU throughout the indoor season and led the BHSU men in the pole vault event. The junior out of Casper, Wyoming vaulted a season best 4.33m at the Stinger Open on February 18, with his mark at the time putting him into a four-way tie for 12
th in the conference. His clean GPA also helped him earn the 2023 RMAC Summit Award for men's track and field at the RMAC Indoor Championships last season as well.
