COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Black Hills State football has been picked to finish fifth among the 10 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference teams in the 2023 RMAC Preseason Coaches' Poll.
In 2022, the Yellow Jackets finished 7-4, with conference wins over Chadron State, Colorado Mesa, South Dakota Mines, Fort Lewis and Adams State.
After winning five straight to open the season in 2022 campaign, BHSU looks to start hot again in 2023.
Colorado School of Mines was picked to finish first with 81 points and nine first-place votes. CSU Pueblo was picked second with 71 points, while Western Colorado was picked third with 62 points and a first-place vote.
