Final Road Trip of Regular Season on Deck for Yellow Jackets

BHSU looks to finish the month of February strong in Colorado

SPEARFISH, S.D. – The Black Hills State University women's basketball team (14-8, 11-7 RMAC) embarks on their final road trip of the regular season this weekend with a trip to southwest Colorado for games against Fort Lewis (12-12, 9-9 RMAC) and Adams State (19-7, 14-4 RMAC) to conclude the month of February slate.

DOMINANT GUARD PLAY
  • The duo of Kalla Bertram and Gracie Haneborg has proven to provide an offensive and defensive spark for Black Hills State of late.
  • Both are averaging more than 8.0 points per game, while Bertram grabs 5.0 rebounds per contest.
  • Haneborg is second on the team with her 29 steals, while Bertram paces the squad with her 50.
  • Bertram also facilitates the offense with her team-best 42 assists.
LAST TIME OUT
  • Black Hills State dropped a pair of home games last weekend inside of A2 Arena to UCCS and Regis.
  • The Jackets fell 69-61 to the Mountain Lions on Friday behind 15 points from Kalla Bertram.
  • BH dropped a 77-62 decision to Regis as Jaylen Ostenson and Ellie Moore both dropped 16 points each.
SERIES HISTORY – FORT LEWIS
  • BHSU leads the all-time series over Fort Lewis, 14-1.
