GAME 1: CSUP 7, BHSU 3
PITCHING DECISIONS:
Win: McKenna James (3-7)
Loss: Shayla Tuschen (2-4)
CSU Pueblo struck first with a pair of runs in the top of the first inning. The two sides would go scoreless as the score would remain 2-0 heading into the fourth inning.
The first Yellow Jacket hit of the day didn't come until the third inning, but the bats came alive with three hits and scoring three runs in the fourth to take the 3-2 lead. Aggressive base running put pressure on the Thunderwolves defense, which aided in the runs being scored for BHSU.
However, the following half inning (T5) CSU Pueblo would put up five runs to take a 7-3 lead, which would hold for the final score.

- BHSU tallied four stolen bases in the game, led by a pair from Taylor Dowden who brought her season total up to five stolen bases (5-for-5).
- Kayla Lee picked up her fourth double of the season in the effort as she also recorded her third multi-hit game of the season going 2-for-4 with a run scored.

The bats were hot in both the second and third innings as 10 of the team's season-high 15 hits came in those two innings, along with the eight runs that crossed the plate.
