COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) announced their selections for the 2024 First Team, Second Team and Honorable Mention All-RMAC honors on Wednesday afternoon following a vote by the league's coaches. BHSU had four players receive Second Team All-RMAC honors: Kalla Bertram, Morgan Hammerbeck, Bradie Schlabs, and Haylee Weathersby.

Kalla Bertram led the team and scoring and was one of the top scorers and rebounders in the conference, ranking tenth in points per game (14.3) and 12th in rebounds per game (6.9). Additionally, Bertram added 1.4 steals per game and 2.0 assists per game. She was efficient shooting the ball and ranked eighth in the RMAC in field goal percentage, knocking down 144-of-330 shot attempts (43.6%), and has scored in double figures in 21 of the 27 games this year. She completed four double doubles this season against Lubbock Christian (17 points, 11 rebounds), Chadron State (19 points, 11 rebounds), CSU Pueblo (17 points, 10 rebounds), and Westminster (13 points, 12 rebounds). She reached her season-high mark in steals on three different occasions and has recorded multiple steals in 15 games. She finished the season with three straight games over 19 points, including a career high 28 versus Adams State. 

Morgan Hammerbeck averaged 11.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 2.1 assists. She shot the ball 39.8 percent from the field, 32.7 percent on 3-pointers, and 77.8 percent of free throws. She ranked sixth in the RMAC in total 3-pointers made (49) and seventh in 3-pointers per game (1.81). Hammerbeck had one double-double this season coming against South Dakota Mines (18 points, 12 rebounds), which was her first career double-double. She scored a career-high 27 points in a game versus Minnesota-Crookston this season. The 12 rebounds she had in her double-double was the first time she had hit double-digit rebounds in her career. 

Bradie Schlabs averaged 12.3 points, 5.6 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 1.4 steals per game. She scored in double figures in 19 games, including a season-high of 24 points versus CSU Pueblo. In 15 of her last 18 games, she scored double-digits and in 12 of her last 17, she had 13 or more points. She secured four or more boards on 24 occasions, including 22 of the last 23 games of the season. Schlabs dished out four or more assists in 18 games, 13 of the last 20, and tallied a steal in 24 of 27 games this year. She ranked third in the RMAC in assists (117), fourth in assists per game (4.3), and third in assist/turnover ratio (1.56), while also ranking 47th, 42nd, and 71st nationally in NCAA Division II in the respective categories. Schlabs moved into 3rd all-time in single season assists with 117, passing Tracy Winjum, Lindsey Buthe, Steph Kelly, Rhea Miller, and Amanda Schelle, Alexis Krull, Schelle again, and Tina Heinbaugh. Schlabs is a one-time RMAC Offensive Player of the Week winner (2-10-25). 

Haylee Weathersby averaged 13.6 points and added 6.8 rebounds per game. She ranked second in the RMAC in field goal percentage and 23rd in the country, knocking down 142-of-257 (55.3%) shot attempts this year. She scored 12 or more points in 20 of 27 games this year in addition to grabbing five or more boards in 23 contests including eight or more in six of the last eight games of the season. She had four double doubles this season against Chadron State (14 points, 10 rebounds), Colorado Christian (29 points, 10 rebounds), UCCS (15 points, 10 rebounds), and New Mexico Highlands (15 points, 11 rebounds), and officially made it into the BHSU 500 rebound club for her career.
