Schlabs Named to RMAC All-Tournament Team

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) announced their selections for the RMAC All-Tournament team following UCCS's upset win over Colorado Mesa in the RMAC Championship Saturday evening. Among the honorees was BHSU's Bradie Schlabs, who helped lead BHSU to a conference semifinals run and was the leading scorer. 

Schlabs led BHSU with 16 points per game throughout the run while also totaling seven rebounds and 12 assists. Schlabs was the fourth-leading scorer versus CSU Pueblo when she had 15 in their first-round win but nearly had a double-double with eight assists. She was the leading scorer in the second game, when she finished with 17 and four assists in the loss to Mesa. She shot 13-27 (48.1 percent) from the field throughout the two games, while shooting 3-8 from behind the arc (37.5 percent). Schlabs is currently in the midst of a historic freshman season by being the first player in program history to finish with 300 points, 100 rebounds, and 100 assists in a season. She also is third on the single season assists leaders.
