SPEARFISH, S.D. – The Inaugural Scott Walkinshaw Open & Multi, now named after the former hall of fame Yellow Jacket cross country and track & field coach, has officially been pushed back a day to Saturday, April 5, and Sunday, April 6, due to potential weather concerns later this week. The outdoor meet at Lyle Hare Stadium will be the program's first since the spring of 2022, as the action on Saturday will begin at 1 p.m. with decathlon and heptathlon events, as well as the hammer throw. Then Sunday's action will begin at 9 a.m. with the decathlon and heptathlon once again, while all other track events begin at 11 a.m. and field events at 12 p.m. to close out the weekend.
