GOLDEN, Colo. – The 2025 RMAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships came to a close at the Stermole Track & Field Complex on Sunday evening as the Black Hills State University men's and women's teams brought their weekend total to eight all-conference athletes. On Saturday

Conor McGraw notched Second Team All-RMAC honors in the discus throw and decathlon respectively, while on Sunday
Trennan Pearson,
Braden Anderson, and
Kendall Tietjen also garnered Second Team All-RMAC accolades in the high jump, 800m run, and 400m hurdles. Also, among the top performances of the weekend for the Yellow Jackets was the men's 4x400 relay team clocking the second-fastest time in program history in the event. In the team race, the men's team finished ninth with 33.5 points, while the women's team was tenth with 14.5 points.
HOW IT HAPPENED – MEN'S TRACK & FIELD (SATURDAY)
- Javin Walker earned a top-10 finish in the triple jump with a career-best mark of 13.09m (42' 11.5") for tenth place. Following suit just behind Walker with an 11th place finish was Casen Willson, who recorded a jump of 12.76m (41' 10.25").
- Ryan Baker was the first Yellow Jacket to secure All-RAMC honors on Saturday, posting a fifth place finish for second team accolades in the discus throw. He notched a career-best mark of 47.28m (155' 1.25"), which ranks seventh all-time on the school's performance list. Joining Baker in the discus throw competition for BHSU was Anthony Rosenstrauch who posted a mark of 42.65m (139' 11") for 15th place and Logan Class who recorded a mark of 39.87m (130' 9.5") for 23rd place.
- Jace Johnson was the lone athlete for the Green & Gold to run in the prelims of the 200m dash, crossing the finish line 20th with a time of 22.25.
- With a time of 1:53.21 in the 800m run prelims, Braden Anderson was sixth in the event and punched his ticket to the finals on Sunday afternoon.
- Earning his third career all-conference accolade, Conor McGraw posted a sixth place finish in the decathlon to secure Second Team All-RMAC honors at the Stermole Track & Field Complex. He tallied a season-best 5,914 points as he recorded a top-10 finish in every specialty, rounding out the event with a time of 16.55 for sixth place in the 110m hurdles, a mark of 39.35m (129' 1") for second place in the discus throw, a mark of 3.70m (12' 1.5") for sixth place in the pole vault, a career-best mark of 47.64m (156' 3") for third place in the javelin throw, and a time of 5:33.24 for eighth place in the 1,500m run.
- Notching a 17th place finish in the prelims of the 110m hurdles, Jayden Curtis clocked a career-best time of 15.56.
- Landrum Wiley just missed a top-10 finish in the finals of the 3,000m steeplechase, turning in an 11th place finish in a time of 10:02.77 in the event. Also competing in the event, Alberto Spotted notched a 21st place finish with a time of 10:46.56.
HOW IT HAPPENED – MEN'S TRACK & FIELD (SUNDAY)
- The first in action on the men's side for the Yellow Jackets on the final day of the RMAC Championships, Trennan Pearson earned Second Team All-RMAC honors as he tied for fourth place and cleared 1.89m (6' 2.25") in the high jump.
- BHSU began the day on the track with the 4x100 relay team of Jace Johnson, Ashley Williams, Mason Sartain, and Jude Guevara, earning four team points with a fifth place finish. They clocked a time of 41.69, which ranks fourth all-time in program history.
- Earning Second Team All-RMAC honors in the 800m run, Braden Anderson once again clocked a sub-1:51 time in the event as he ran to a fourth place finish with a 1:50.11. It is the fourth sub-1:51 time in the event this outdoor season for the junior middle-distance runner.
- Running to a time of 54.81, Flynn Johnston was seventh in the 400m hurdles and was just 0.08 seconds from sixth place and all-conference honors.
- Jaxon Straus crossed the finish line in a time of 15:59.70 for 17th place in the 5,000m run.
- In the final event of the conference championships, the Yellow Jackets added one more team point in the 4x400 relay as the team of Anderson, Aiden O'Leary, Johnston, and Drew Lehman, ran to a time of 3:16.33 for eighth place. The time will go down as the second-fastest in Black Hills State history in the event.

HOW IT HAPPENED – WOMEN'S TRACK & FIELD (SATURDAY)
- Alivia Weathers was able to secure a top-10 finish in the heptathlon, scoring 3,693 points during the weekend. On Saturday she won the javelin throw competition in the event with a throw of 36.64m (120' 2") and then added a 13th place finish in the long jump with a mark of 4.66m (15' 3.5"), followed by a 17th place finish in the 800m run with a time of 2:56.77.
- Also competing in the heptathlon, Alessandra Broussard finished just outside of the top-10 in 11th place with a weekend total and career-best point total of 3,666. On Saturday she notched a new career-best time of 2:42.95 for ninth place in the 800m run, she also added an 11th place finish in the javelin throw with a mark of 27.18m (89' 2") and a 14th place finish in the long jump with a mark of 4.61m (15' 1.5").
- The duo of Isabell Higgins and Christianna Wall recorded throws of 11.57m (37' 11.5") and 11.27m (36' 11.5") respectively in the shot put. Higgins finished for a tie for 16th place while Wall was 18th place in the event.
- The lone Yellow Jacket competing in the 200m dash prelims, Saraya Afrank ran to a time of 26.71 for 23rd place.
- Securing a top-15 finish in the 800m run prelims, Jillian Brennan posted a career-best time of 2:19.30 for 13th place, while Norah Entzi was just a few ticks of the clock behind as she tallied a 2:22.66 for 19th place.
- The pair of Weathers and Lauryn Bennett ran to times of 16.58 and 16.94 respectively for 20th and 22nd place finishes in the prelims of the 100m hurdles. Bennett's time in the event was a new career-best.
- Evie Boyd earned a top-10 finish in the finals of the 3,000m steeplechase, crossing the finish line tenth in a career-best time of 11:22.10 that ranks tenth on the Yellow Jacket All-Time Performance List.
HOW IT HAPPENED –WOMEN'S TRACK & FIELD (SUNDAY)
- Starting off the final day of action in Golden, Alivia Weathers secured two team points in the javelin throw with a seventh place and a career-best mark of 38.37m (125' 10.25") that ranks sixth on the Yellow Jacket All-Time Performance List. Additionally, Cassidy Goddard notched a 23rd place finish in the event with a throw of 28.32m (92' 10.75").
- Goddard and Isabell Higgins each posted top-15 finishes in the discus throw, recording marks of 40.24m (132' 0.25") and 38.38m (125' 11") respectively for 14th and 15th place.
- Securing a Second Team All-RMAC honor in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:01.78 was Kendall Tietjen who ran to a fourth place finish.
- Rounding out the weekend, the 4x400 relay team of Saraya Afrank, Jillian Brennan, Tietjen, and Carlie DeBoer ran to a ninth place finish as they posted a time of 3:59.82.
