Crosby Named RMAC Special Teams Player of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) announced the week two conference players of the week for football on Monday afternoon, which included Black Hills State University punter, Mason Crosby, being recognized. The freshman punter was key to flipping the field for the Yellow Jackets in this past weekend's contest at Chadron State, earning RMAC Special Teams Player of the Week Honors after a pair of 50-yard punts.

  • He averaged 46.0 yards per punt on five attempts against the Eagles, with punts of 54-yards and 73-yards. Both of his punts of 50+ yards pinned CSC inside their own 5-yard line.
  • His 73-yard punt ranked as the fourth longest punt in NCAA Division II this season and was the longest nationally in week two.
  • His 73-yard punt was also the third longest in BHSU NCAA Division II history.
