SPEARFISH, S.D.- The Griffins and Yellow Jackets kept it through the first 22 minutes of the game, but a 12-0 run early in the third quarter helped BHSU get it's 14
th win of RMAC play and put them in position to play for a home conference game tomorrow. The Yellow Jackets used that 12-0 run to outscore the Griffins 35-19 in the second and third quarters. The Yellow Jackets were led by 27 combined points by
Brinlee McRae and
Alli Glasscock.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Â Westminster started the game on an 8-2 run with Teuila Nawahine drawing a three-point play and Emily Evans draining a three pointer. Sawyer Stoebner stopped the run with a layup and then after another Westminster basket, Serlen made a layup to make it 10-6. Madison Anderson made a jumper and then Bradie Schlabs made a three to make it 12-9. Marli Reed made a three and then Emily Cooper answered to make it 15-12. Ellie Mitchell made a jumper to send it into the second quarter with the Griffins up 17-12.
- The Yellow Jackets went on a 13-2 run in the first 7:31 in the second quarter with Alli Glasscock scoring the final five points of the run to make it 25-19 BHSU. Bradie Schlabs, Brinlee McRae, Maureen Ulrich, and Taylin Serlen each had two points during the run as well. WU finished the half on a 7-4 run with Ulrich and Glasscock each hitting another basket to make it 29-26.
- Halftime leaders for the Yellow Jackets include Glasscock with seven points. Schlabs had five points, three rebounds, and three assists, while Stoebner had eight rebounds. For Westminster, Nawahine had nine points and four rebounds, and Mitchell had six points.
- Just over a minute into the half, Ellie Mitchell hit a three to tie the game at 29-29. The score stayed tied at 31-31 with each team making a layup. BHSU answered with a 12-0 run with four points from Schlabs and McRae. Mitchell scored five of the final nine point of the half with Serlen scoring the other four to put BHSU into the final frame up 47-36.
- BHSU started the fourth quarter on a 8-0 run with three points from McRae, a layup from Schlabs, and a three-pointer from Emily Cooper. This put BHSU up 19 at 55-36 before Westminster went on a 6-2 run to make it 57-42. The Yellow Jackets answered with an 8-0 run to go up 65-42 with a three from Brinlee McRae. Westminster ended the game on a 14-5 run with Sydney Deem hitting a three for the Yellow Jackets and ending the game at 70-56.
