GRAND JUNCTION, COLO. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) announced their selections for the RMAC All-Tournament team following Colorado Mesa's dominant win in the RMAC Championship Saturday evening. Among the honorees was BHSU's
Brinlee McRae, who was the team's scoring leader in BHSU's end of season and tournament run.
McRae started the RMAC tournament with the best game of her career posting 31 points with eight rebounds as she went 12-19 (.632) and 6-7 (.857) from three in BHSU's win over Western Colorado to make it to the semifinals as the only upset in the first round on either the men's or women's side. Her 31 points was a BHSU season high and her (.857) from three tied the BHSU program record for single-game three point percentage. She then followed that up by leading the team in scoring once again in the loss versus Mesa scoring 18 points on 9-19 (.474) from the field. She finished with double digit scoring in each of the last 13 games.
