COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) announced the week one football players of the week on Monday afternoon, which tabbed Black Hills State wide receiver, Jayden Williams, as the league's offensive player of the week following the Yellow Jackets 44-31 victory over Dakota State. The junior was key in the offensive success of the Green & Gold on Saturday as they racked up 533 yards of offense with 322 yards in the passing game. The accolade is the first of the season for Black Hills State football, and the first offensive player of the week honor since the 2024 campaign.

• Helped lead Black Hills State to a 44-31 victory over Dakota State in their home opener on Saturday afternoon, which pushed the Yellow Jackets to 2-0 for the first time since 2022.   
• In the win, he recorded career-highs of 12 receptions, 205 receiving yards, and two receiving touchdowns. He averaged 17.1 yards per reception. 
• His touchdown receptions went for 67 yards in the first quarter and 27 yards in the third quarter. 
• He accumulated 160 yards after the catch on Saturday against the Trojans. 
• He recorded three receptions of 20 or more yards and eight receptions of ten or more yards. 
• Williams also added one rush for a 15-yard gain in the contest.
