2014-15: Anchored the Yellow Jackets in her junior campiagn...Led BHSU with a .409 batting average, 12 home runs, 37 RBI, .513 on base percentagee, .756 slugging percentage and eight doubles...Found herself sitting in the driver's seat in many categories on the Black Hills State University record book...Her 12 home runs and 37 RBI are single-season records...Currently the BHSU career leader in batting average (.377), hits (124), RBI (71), and walks (41)...RMAC First Team All-Academic selection.
2013-14: Finished second among BHSU sluggers with a .316 batting average...Led BHSU with a .447 on base percentage and 19 walks...Added 48 putouts and a .950 fielding percentage from the catcher position...RMAC Honor Roll Recipient.
2012-13: Was a key contributer in her first season as a Yellow Jacket...Led BHSU with a .394 batting average, 16 RBI, .481 slugging percentage, and a .439 on base percentage...Added six doubles and one home run...Registered a .911 fielding percentage for the Yellow Jackets.
High School and Personal Data: Erica was a three sport athlete out of Stevens High School in Rapid City where she earned varsity letters in basketball and softball… named All-State 2010-2011, all-tournament 2010-2011…team honors include being national tournament MVP…daughter of Karlene and Doyle Everson and Mike Hickey…plans to study Biology…advice to young athletes: do what you love and what makes you happy…pre-game superstition: never step on the chalk line, does hair the exact same, talk/call her mom…one word describing herself: awkward…favorite dessert: chocolate and ice cream.
