2016:  Played in 11 games... Earned All-RMAC Honorable Mention... Completed 192 of 380 passes for 2,277 yards... Had 13 passing touchdowns... Rushed for 167 yards on 64 carries... Had two rushing touchdowns... Threw for season-best against Colorado Mesa with 367 yards... 

2015:  Played in 11 games… Rushed for 288 yards on 81 carries… Completed 200 of 395 passes for 2,374 yards… Had 11 touchdowns… 

Prep: Named Second Team All-State as a senior at Rock Canyon High School… Two-Time First Team All-Conference honoree… Earned Second Team All-Conference honors during sophomore season… Completed 337-of-689 passes for 4,688 yards and 45 touchdowns during high school career… Carried the ball 215 times from 1,104 yards and 10 touchdowns during high school career… Named to 2014 American Family Insurance All-USA Colorado Team…

Personal: Son of Shelly and Jeff Hommel… One brother, Eric… Father played hockey at the University of Wisconsin… Mother competed in collegiate dance at the University of Wisconsin… Is a trained Peer Counsellor and is winner of the Peer Counselor of the Year award… Plans to major in mass communication…
