Black Hills State University Athletics

2022-23: Competed in ten meets for the Yellow Jackets between indoor and outdoor, competed in the 400m, 800m, 4x400m, and distance medley relays… stamped a season best 800m at the SDSU Indoor Classic (1:57.92) to place 32^nd… helped the Yellow Jacket DMR team to a first-place performance at the David Little Alumni Mile (10:33.23)… posted a season-best 4x400m time at the 2023 RMAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships (3:33.51) to place ninth overall.

Before BHSU: Spent the fall semester of 2019 at Colorado Mesa before coming to BHSU. During his time at Haxtun High School, Anderson competed in multiple sports: he was football team captain in 2017 and 2018 (All-Conference), was a basketball team captain in 2019 (which placed third overall that year, Anderson was named to All-Conference in 2018 and 2019, All-State 2nd Team in 2019), and was a track-and-field team captain in 2019 (he owns the school record for 800m and the 1600m races). In the classroom, Anderson received National Honors Society recognition in 2017, 2018, and 2019, also making the Superintendent's Honor Roll through all 4 years of high school. Anderson graduated 8th in his class with a 3.8 GPA.
