2022-23: Competed in seven meets for the Yellow Jackets between indoor and outdoor… recorded a personal best mile at the David Little Alumni Mile in the one mile run (4:37.42) to place fifth… ran another career-mark at the CSC Don Hold Open on January 28 in the 3000m run (9:20.18) to place sixth… ran the 5000m run at the SDSU Indoor Classic in February (15:45.84) to place 58^th on his way to another career-low time… competed in the 3000m steeplechase at the 2023 RMAC Outdoor Championships (10:11.40) and placed 11^th with another new career-low mark.

Before BHSU: Attended Campbell County High School where he competed for the cross country and track and field teams...The son of Anna Gillespie and Travis Hurm... his mother, Anna, ran in cross country and track for Dana College.
